His major achievement at Orascom was that he sold the company to VEON to create the world’s sixth largest telecommunications firm.

TAREK HAMDY CEO EIGHTEEN

A highly accomplished professional with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate industry, Tarek Hamdy is a man of wit, intellectual curiosity and vast knowledge of the construction sector. In his three decades of experience, Tarek has spearheaded several successful international projects in high-paced organizations.

He has served in a number of executive positions including as a General Manager of Schreder Lighting-Belgium, Managing Director of Technolite France, Chief Executive Officer at Meler Ventures SA and Managing Director for IMS, a subsidiary of the M.A.Kharafi Group. These roles, including his current one at Eighteen, are a testament to his dynamism and result-oriented work style.
